Delio Onnis, born on March 24, 1948, in La Puerta, Argentina, is a retired professional football player renowned for his prolific goal-scoring ability. Primarily a forward, Onnis began his career in the Argentine Primera División, making a name for himself with clubs such as Rosario Central and subsequently moving to Europe, where he joined the French club AS Monaco.
During his time with AS Monaco from 1973 to 1980, Onnis achieved notable success, becoming the club's all-time leading scorer.
