DeLisha Milton-Jones, born on September 11, 1974, in Portsmouth, Virginia, is a retired professional basketball player renowned for her contributions to women's basketball in the United States. A versatile forward, she played college basketball at the University of Florida, where she earned All-American honors and solidified her reputation as a formidable scorer and rebounder. Following her collegiate success, Milton-Jones was selected as the 5th overall pick in the 1999 WNBA Draft by the Los Angeles Sparks.
Throughout her 17-year professional career, Milton-Jones played for several WNBA teams, including the Los Angeles Sparks, Washington Mystics, and Atlanta Dream. She was instrumental in leading the Sparks to a WNBA Championship in 2001, and she earned the distinction of being a two-time WNBA All-Star.
