Biography
DeMarcus Ware, born on July 31, 1982, in Auburn, Alabama, is a former professional American football linebacker and defensive end. He played college football at Troy University, where he was recognized for his formidable defensive skills and athleticism. Ware was selected by the Dallas Cowboys as the 11th overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft, marking the beginning of a distinguished 12-year career in the National Football League (NFL).
During his time with the Cowboys (2005-2013), Ware established himself as one of the premier pass rushers in the league. He earned eight Pro Bowl selections and was named a First-Team All-Pro four times. Ware led the NFL in sacks in 2008 and 2010, and he finished his Cowboys career with 117 sacks, holding the franchise record for most sacks in team history.
Ware concluded his playing career with the Denver Broncos (2014-2016), where he contributed significantly to the team's Super Bowl 50 victory.
