Demetress Bell, born on May 3, 1984, in Shreveport, Louisiana, is a former professional American football offensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL). Bell attended the University of Buffalo, where he initially played tight end before transitioning to offensive tackle. His athletic prowess and strong performance in college earned him a place in the professional ranks despite being relatively new to the position.
Bell was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the seventh round of the 2008 NFL Draft. He made an immediate impact on the team's offensive line, becoming a starter in his second season. Over his four-year career with the Bills, he played in 41 games, starting in 27 of them, and was known for his remarkable agility and pass-blocking skills, which were vital to the team’s offensive strategies.
