Dewald Potgieter, born on February 22, 1987, in Pretoria, South Africa, is a retired professional Rugby Union player recognized for his versatility as a flanker and number eight. He began his career within the youth ranks of the Blue Bulls and showcased his talents in the Under-19 and Under-21 teams, which set the stage for his transition to professional rugby.
Potgieter made his senior debut for the Blue Bulls in 2008 and quickly established himself as a key player in the squad.
