Richard "Dick" Diebert (born July 12, 1930) was an American basketball player known for his significant contributions to the sport during the mid-20th century. Diebert played college basketball at the University of Kentucky, where he was part of a legendary program under Coach Adolph Rupp. His exceptional performance led the Wildcats to multiple Southeastern Conference championships and appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
After college, Diebert was selected in the 1952 NBA Draft by the Indianapolis Olympians, marking the beginning of his professional career.
