Richard Joseph Egan, commonly known as Dick Egan, was an American football player who made significant contributions to the National Football League (NFL) during his career. Born on September 24, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois, Egan attended the University of Colorado, where he played collegiate football as a defensive back. He was selected in the 1960 NFL Draft, being picked in the 15th round by the Green Bay Packers.
