Dick Schafrath, born on March 21, 1937, is a former professional American football player who played as an offensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). Schafrath was drafted in the fourth round of the 1959 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, where he spent the majority of his career, playing from 1959 to 1966. Notably, he was a key member of the Browns' 1964 championship team, contributing to the franchise's last NFL title before the Super Bowl era.
Throughout his eight-season career, Schafrath earned several accolades, including being selected to the Pro Bowl three times and receiving All-Pro honors in 1964 and 1965.
