Don Hutson, born on January 31, 1913, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was an American football wide receiver, considered one of the sport's greatest players. He played his entire professional career with the Green Bay Packers from 1935 to 1945, revolutionizing the position with his exceptional speed and route-running ability. Hutson was known for his remarkable catching ability and became the first player in NFL history to amass over 1,000 receiving yards in a single season, achieving this milestone in 1942.
