Don McPherson, born on April 2, 1965, is a former professional American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL). He grew up in Syosset, New York, where he demonstrated exceptional athletic ability, eventually earning a scholarship to Syracuse University. McPherson rose to prominence during his time at Syracuse, notably leading the team to a Sugar Bowl victory and finishing third in the 1987 Heisman Trophy voting.
