Donald Carr was a prominent English cricketer born on December 28, 1926, in Loughborough, Leicestershire, United Kingdom. He attended Loughborough Grammar School and subsequently made his first-class cricket debut for Derbyshire in 1946. Carr became known for his skills as an elegant batsman and reliable wicketkeeper, earning him a spot on the Derbyshire team for over two decades.
Throughout his career, Carr played 247 first-class matches, accumulating over 12,000 runs, with an impressive batting average of 34.30.
