Doug Dieken, born on February 12, 1949, in Bessemer, Alabama, is a former American football offensive tackle who played his entire National Football League (NFL) career with the Cleveland Browns. After starring at the University of Illinois, Dieken was selected by the Browns in the sixth round of the 1971 NFL Draft. He quickly established himself as a key player on the offensive line, known for his agility and durability throughout his career.
Over 14 seasons from 1971 to 1984, Dieken was a vital part of the Browns' offensive schemes, contributing to the team's success during the 1970s and early 1980s.
