Doug Meacham, born on December 16, 1964, in O'Fallon, Missouri, is a former professional American football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). Meacham attended the University of Oklahoma, where he showcased his talents on the football field and helped the Sooners secure a national championship in 1985. His performance in college led to his selection in the 1988 NFL Draft.
Meacham was chosen by the New York Jets as a third-round pick, where he played from 1988 to 1990. He demonstrated his impact during his tenure, recording significant receptions and contributing to the team's offensive strategy. His best statistical season came in 1989 when he notched over 700 receiving yards, establishing himself as a reliable target for quarterbacks.
