Drew Pearson, born on January 12, 1951, in Newark, New Jersey, is a former professional American football wide receiver who played for the Dallas Cowboys in the National Football League (NFL). He attended the University of Tulsa, where he achieved notable success as a collegiate football player, leading to his selection by the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent in 1973. Pearson quickly established himself as a key player on the team, renowned for his exceptional receiving skills and clutch performances.
During his illustrious career with the Cowboys, Pearson earned three Pro Bowl selections (1975, 1977, and 1978) and was named a First-Team All-Pro in 1976.
