Dwan Edwards, born on May 16, 1981, in Jacksonville, Florida, is a former professional American football player who played as a defensive tackle in the National Football League (NFL). He attended the University of Oregon, where he was a standout player for the Oregon Ducks. After an impressive collegiate career, he was selected in the second round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills.
During his NFL tenure, which spanned from 2004 to 2015, Edwards played for the Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, and the New York Giants. He became known for his powerful presence on the defensive line and was instrumental in the success of various defenses throughout his career.
