E. A. S. Prasanna, born on May 22, 1940, in Mysore, India, is a former Indian cricketer renowned for his exceptional skills as a spin bowler. He made his debut for the Indian national team in 1962 and quickly established himself as a key figure in the bowling lineup, known for his remarkable control, flight, and ability to deceive batsmen.
