Ed Frutig (August 19, 1918 – January 24, 2015) was an American football player who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). He was born in Michigan and attended the University of Michigan, where he developed his skills on the field, earning recognition for his speed and agility. Frutig was selected in the 1941 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers, marking the beginning of a professional career that would span several seasons.
Frutig played for the Green Bay Packers from 1941 to 1943 and again in 1945 after serving in World War II.
