Edmund Sutton (born October 12, 1844) was an English cricketer who played in the mid-19th century. He was primarily known as a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium pace bowler. Sutton made his first-class debut for Kent in 1866 and had a notable presence in the English domestic circuit for several years.
Throughout his career, Sutton represented multiple teams, including Middlesex and the Players of the North. He achieved a career-high first-class bowling average of 15.66, with a best performance of 7 wickets for 23 runs, highlighting his effectiveness as a bowler during competitive matches. His contributions to the game extended beyond his individual statistics; he was also recognized for his sportsmanship and tactical awareness on the field.
