Edward Tolhurst (born October 29, 1895) was an Australian cricketer known for his contributions to the sport during the early 20th century. He played primarily as a right-handed batsman and left-arm medium-pace bowler. Tolhurst made his first-class debut for Victoria in 1921 and quickly established himself as a reliable player in domestic competitions.
Throughout his career, Tolhurst was recognized for his consistent performances and tactical awareness on the field. He played a total of 41 first-class matches between 1921 and 1929, amassing over 1,500 runs and taking 57 wickets. His notable achievements include several critical innings during the Sheffield Shield, where he showcased his skills against some of the best bowlers of his time.
