Efren Herrera, born on July 30, 1951, in Mexico City, Mexico, is a former professional American football placekicker known for his successful career in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he distinguished himself as a reliable kicker. Following his collegiate career, Herrera was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the 17th round of the 1974 NFL Draft.
