Elmo Branch, born on March 12, 1990, in Atlanta, Georgia, is a former professional basketball player known for his exceptional skills as a guard. Branch attended the University of North Carolina, where he played for the Tar Heels from 2008 to 2012, earning All-American honors and contributing to the team’s NCAA championship victory in 2009. Following his successful college career, he declared for the NBA Draft in 2012.
Branch was selected in the second round as the 45th overall pick by the Cleveland Cavaliers. During his NBA career, which spanned from 2012 to 2018, he played for several teams, including the Cavaliers, Los Angeles Lakers, and Miami Heat.
