Biography
Elmo Rodrigopulle, born on July 18, 1931, in Sri Lanka, was a prominent cricketer known for his all-round abilities. He made his first-class debut in 1952 and represented Ceylon (now Sri Lanka) in domestic competitions, showcasing his skills as a right-handed batsman and off-spin bowler. Rodrigopulle’s domestic career spanned approximately two decades, during which he made significant contributions to various teams, including the prestigious CCC (Colombo Cricket Club).
Rodrigopulle played a pivotal role in Sri Lanka's early cricketing history, contributing to the development of the sport in the country.
