Eric Bledsoe, born on December 9, 1989, in Birmingham, Alabama, is an American professional basketball player known for his athleticism and defensive prowess. Bledsoe played college basketball at the University of Kentucky, where he was part of the 2010 Wildcats team that reached the NCAA Tournament's Elite Eight. After declaring for the NBA draft, he was selected as the 18th overall pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder in 2010 but was subsequently traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.
