Ernest Hood was an English cricketer born on August 27, 1915, in England. A left-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler, Hood made his first-class debut in 1935. He played a total of 24 matches for teams including the Nottinghamshire and the Free Foresters throughout the late 1930s.
