Biography
Errol Spence Jr. was born on March 3, 1990, in Long Island, New York, and later moved to DeSoto, Texas, where he began his boxing career at a young age. He had a successful amateur career, culminating in a gold medal at the 2009 U.S. National Championships. Spence turned professional in 2012, quickly gaining recognition for his technical skill and powerful punching ability.
Throughout his professional career, Spence has held multiple world championships in two weight classes, including the IBF welterweight title, which he won in 2017 against Kell Brook.
