Faqir Aizazuddin, born on August 17, 1935, is a former Pakistani cricketer known for his all-round capabilities, particularly as a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler. His international career spanned from 1952 to 1962, during which he represented Pakistan in 14 Test matches. Aizazuddin was a key member of the national team during its formative years following independence, contributing both with the bat and the ball.
Throughout his playing career, Aizazuddin demonstrated notable performances, including his best bowling figures of 5 for 61 against New Zealand in 1956.
