Felix Wright, born on June 22, 1959, in Richmond, Virginia, is a former professional American football player. He played as a safety in the National Football League (NFL) and is best known for his tenure with the Cleveland Browns from 1983 to 1988. After being selected in the eighth round of the 1983 NFL Draft, Wright quickly established himself as a valuable player on the Browns’ defense.
Throughout his career, Wright demonstrated exceptional skills in pass coverage and tackling, contributing significantly to the team's success during the mid-1980s. Notably, he was a key member of the defensive squad that helped the Browns reach the AFC Championship game multiple times, including a memorable appearance in 1986.
