Flipper Anderson, born on March 7, 1965, in Los Angeles, California, is a former professional American football wide receiver who played in the National Football League (NFL). He attended the University of Iowa, where he established himself as a talented receiver before being selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the fourth round of the 1988 NFL Draft. Anderson is noted for his unique combination of speed, agility, and hands, which made him a formidable offensive threat during his career.
Anderson's most notable achievement came during the 1989 season when he set an NFL record for the most receiving yards in a single game, with 336 yards against the New Orleans Saints on November 26, 1989.
