Francis Alphonsus Jayarajah, born on January 1, 1947, is a former Sri Lankan cricketer known for his contributions to the sport during the 1970s and 1980s. Primarily a right-handed batsman, Jayarajah made significant strides in domestic cricket, representing several clubs including Saracens Sports Club and Moors Sports Club. His performance at the domestic level earned him recognition and paved the way for his selection to the national team.
Jayarajah made his international debut in 1982, becoming a part of Sri Lanka's emerging cricketing landscape as the nation gained full Test status.
