Biography
Francis Buckland (27 August 1854 – date of death unknown) was an English cricketer who played for Sussex County Cricket Club during the late 19th century. Buckland was primarily a right-handed batsman and an occasional right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his first-class debut in 1875 and quickly established himself within the team, contributing both with the bat and ball throughout his career.
Over the course of his playing career, Buckland participated in 40 first-class matches, achieving notable personal milestones, including a top score of 137 in an innings.
