Franco Rol (June 5, 1908 – August 7, 1952) was an Italian racing driver known for his contributions to early Formula 1 racing. He began his career in the late 1920s, initially competing in sports car events, where he quickly gained recognition for his skill and competitive spirit. Rol made his Formula 1 debut in 1950, the inaugural year of the championship, driving for the Maserati team.
