Frank Stams, born on July 17, 1965, is a former American football linebacker known for his tenure in the National Football League (NFL). A standout at the University of Notre Dame, he played a crucial role in the Fighting Irish's defense, contributing to their successful national championship run in 1988. Stams was selected in the 5th round of the 1988 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams.
