Frank Wicks (born January 30, 1892) was a notable English cricketer who played primarily as a right-handed batsman and occasional right-arm medium pace bowler. He made his debut for Sussex County Cricket Club in 1912, quickly establishing himself as a reliable player within the team. His career was temporarily interrupted by World War I, during which he served in the military.
Wicks returned to cricket after the war and gained recognition for his consistent performances in the domestic circuit. He played for Sussex until 1927, accumulating over 7,000 runs in first-class cricket and earning a reputation for his solid technique and determination at the crease. His highest score of 233 not out came during a match against Derbyshire in 1921, highlighting his capability as a top-order batsman.
