Fred Dean, born on February 24, 1952, in Arcadia, Louisiana, was an influential defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). Drafted by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 1975 NFL Draft, Dean emerged as a key player for the team, known for his exceptional speed and pass-rushing ability.
