Fred Enke was an American professional football player born on December 15, 1924, in Tucson, Arizona. He played college football as a quarterback at the University of Michigan, where he distinguished himself as a key player under the coaching of Fritz Crisler. Enke's collegiate success led him to be selected in the NFL Draft.
