Freddie Kitchens, born on November 29, 1974, in Gadsden, Alabama, is a former professional American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at the University of Alabama, where he had a standout career, culminating in a quarterback position that showcased his leadership and tactical skills. Kitchens was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the eighth round of the 1999 NFL Draft.
Kitchens' NFL career included stints with the Arizona Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys, where he primarily served as a backup quarterback. Although his playing time was limited, he contributed to the teams as a reliable support player, known for his work ethic and football intelligence.
