Fritz Ziegler is a former professional basketball player known for his versatility as a forward. Born on January 15, 1985, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Ziegler showcased exceptional talent during his high school career at Milwaukee King High School, where he led the team to a state championship and earned numerous all-state honors. He went on to play collegiate basketball at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he was recognized for his scoring ability and defensive skills, helping the team to several NCAA tournament appearances.

Ziegler was selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets.
