Fuad Reveiz, born on February 24, 1963, in Santa Rosa de Cabal, Colombia, is a former professional American football placekicker who gained prominence in the National Football League (NFL) during the late 1980s and early 1990s. He attended the University of Maryland, where he excelled in college football, setting records for field goals made. Reveiz was selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the 8th round of the 1986 NFL Draft, marking a significant milestone as one of the few Colombian athletes to enter the league.
Throughout his career, Reveiz played for several teams, including the Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, and the San Diego Chargers. He is well-known for his remarkable accuracy and distance on field goals, with a personal best of 54 yards. Over his seven seasons in the NFL, Reveiz played in 76 games and made 89 field goals out of 108 attempts, achieving an overall field goal percentage of 82.4%.
