Gamini Silva, born on December 19, 1960, in Sri Lanka, is a former professional cricket player renowned for his contributions to Sri Lankan cricket during the late 1980s and early 1990s. An accomplished right-handed batsman and occasional off-spin bowler, Silva made his debut for the Sri Lankan national team in 1986 and played in a total of 25 One Day Internationals (ODIs) until 1992.
