Gamini Wickremasinghe, born on December 27, 1965, in Sri Lanka, is a former cricketer renowned for his contributions to Sri Lankan cricket during the 1980s and early 1990s. A left-handed batsman and right-arm medium-fast bowler, Wickremasinghe made his Test debut for the national team in 1985 against India. Over the course of his international career, he played in over 50 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and a total of 9 Test matches.
