Garo Yepremian was an American football placekicker, born on June 2, 1944, in Alexandria, Egypt. He immigrated to the United States and made a name for himself in the NFL, playing primarily for the Miami Dolphins from 1966 to 1970. Yepremian gained prominence as a reliable kicker, contributing significantly to the team's success during their historic undefeated season in 1972.
Throughout his career, Yepremian was known for his strong leg and accuracy, successfully converting 69.6% of his field goal attempts. He was selected for the Pro Bowl in 1970 and played in three Super Bowls, winning Super Bowl VII and Super Bowl VIII with the Dolphins.
