Garrett Gilkey, born on July 8, 1990, in Sandusky, Ohio, is a former American football offensive lineman who played in the National Football League (NFL). He attended the University of Toledo, where he was a standout player for the Toledo Rockets, earning All-Mid-American Conference honors during his collegiate career. After successfully showcasing his abilities at the collegiate level, Gilkey entered the 2014 NFL Draft.
Gilkey was selected by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the seventh round, 217th overall. He made his professional debut during the 2014 season, where he contributed primarily as a depth player on the offensive line. Throughout his brief NFL career, he also had stints with the Cleveland Browns and the Atlanta Falcons, demonstrating versatility in various offensive line positions.
