Gary Danielson, born on September 10, 1951, in Hinsdale, Illinois, is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL). He attended Purdue University, where he set multiple school passing records and was named the team's Most Valuable Player in his senior season. Danielson was selected in the fourth round of the 1974 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.
During his professional career, Danielson played for the Detroit Lions from 1976 to 1979, and later for the Cleveland Browns from 1980 to 1984.
