Gary Gilmour is a former Australian cricketer born on June 26, 1951. He was primarily an all-rounder, excelling as a left-arm fast bowler and a lower-order batsman. Gilmour made his international debut in 1973 and became renowned for his performances in limited-overs cricket, particularly during the early years of One Day Internationals (ODIs).
Gilmour is best remembered for his outstanding performances during the 1975 Cricket World Cup, where he played a pivotal role in Australia's campaign. In a remarkable semi-final match against England, he took six wickets for 14 runs and also contributed vital runs with the bat.
