Biography
Gary Kubiak, born on August 15, 1961, in Broomfield, Colorado, is a former professional American football player and coach known for his contributions as a quarterback and head coach in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas A&M University, where he set multiple records and was recognized for his performance, ultimately being selected by the Denver Broncos in the 8th round of the 1983 NFL Draft. Kubiak spent the majority of his playing career with the Broncos, serving as John Elway's backup and earning a reputation for his knowledge of the game.
Transitioning to coaching after his playing career, Kubiak began as an assistant coach with the San Francisco 49ers and later took on roles with the Broncos, where he played a pivotal role in developing the team's offense. As the offensive coordinator for the Broncos from 1995 to 2005, he helped lead the team to consecutive Super Bowl victories in 1997 and 1998.
