Gary Neibauer is a retired professional basketball athlete known for his impactful career in the sport during the 1970s and 1980s. Born in 1952 in Indiana, Neibauer honed his skills in high school basketball, leading his team to a state championship before excelling at the collegiate level. Neibauer was selected in the third round of the 1974 NBA Draft by the Houston Rockets, where he quickly established himself as a reliable forward.
