Gary Neugebauer is a former professional American football player, recognized for his contributions as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL) during the 1980s and early 1990s. Born on July 12, 1960, in San Diego, California, Neugebauer attended the University of Southern California, where he showcased exceptional athletic talent, ultimately earning All-American honors. He was selected in the third round of the 1982 NFL Draft by the Houston Oilers.
Neugebauer played a pivotal role in the evolution of the Oilers' offensive strategy, notably during the team's run-and-shoot era.
