Gary Reasons is a former American football linebacker born on February 18, 1962, in St. Augustine, Florida. He played college football at Louisiana State University (LSU), where he became known for his outstanding defensive skills and leadership on the field. Reasons was selected in the fourth round of the 1984 NFL Draft by the New York Giants.
Reasons had a notable professional career, spending the majority of his time with the Giants from 1984 to 1988. He was part of the Giants team that won Super Bowl XXI in 1987, playing a key role in the team's defensive lineup. Throughout his NFL tenure, he was recognized for his tackling ability and contributions to the team's success, including being named to the Pro Bowl in 1987.
