George Andrie, born on April 20, 1940, is a former professional American football player who made significant contributions as a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the 1961 NFL Draft by the Dallas Cowboys, where he played for a decade and became a key component of the team’s defensive line. Andrie’s versatility and skill on the field led him to become a prominent figure in the team's early success.
Throughout his career, Andrie was known for his tenacity and athleticism, earning him two Pro Bowl selections in 1968 and 1969.
