George Bayly (born March 17, 1856) was a notable New Zealand cricketer who played during the late 19th century. He was primarily known as a right-handed batsman and an occasional right-arm bowler. Bayly's cricketing career spanned from 1877 to 1884, during which he made significant contributions to the New Zealand national team and domestic cricket.
Bayly made his first-class debut for the Otago province in 1878, quickly establishing himself as a key player in regional matches. He achieved the distinction of being one of the first cricketers to represent New Zealand on the international stage, participating in the inaugural Test match against Australia in 1882.
